The church exists to serve God and carry out His mission. This happens within the church family as we seek to help meet one another’s needs.
Serving also involves reaching out beyond the church into the community to make a difference in the lives of hurting people. We are all uniquely shaped by God to serve others in the church and community. As a part of the church, a body of believers, God designed each of us perfectly to full His purpose of serving.
Connections
Serving on our Connections team are some of the first people our attendees come in contact with at weekend services. They serve at our church services every other week. They greet people before services, help people find seats, help people find parking spots, and work in our welcome lobbies.
Preschool
Those who serve in our Preschool ministry (birth – K) get the opportunity to shepherd and care for our littlest ones during weekend worship services through singing, dancing and teaching the truth of God’s Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and care for babies and toddlers. A background check is required.
Elementary
Those who serve in The Wave Ministry minister to our 1st - 6th graders during weekend worship services through singing with the children, telling stories and teaching the truth of God's Word. They check in kids, lead classrooms, provide assistance to classroom teachers and sing or play in our Energize Children's Worship Service in the 10:30 worship hour. A background check is required.
Middle School & High School
Those who serve in our Middle School and High School ministry get the opportunity to build and foster relationships with students, ministering them through the teaching of Scripture, worship and intentional discipleship. They check in students, greet students, set up events, lead small groups and sing or play on the worship team. A background check is required.
Discipleship Groups
Those who serve in Discipleship Groups and Sunday School Classes lead groups in learning to obey God's word together. They oversee groups of various sizes.... individuals, develop leaders, encourage non-members toward membership and encourage members to faithfulness.
Facilities
Those who serve on our Facilities team serve behind the scenes. They take care of the church building and grounds and keep things looking and working great. They clean the church building, maintain the church grounds, prep for services and events, and help with landscaping, painting and taking out the trash. We even have needs to take care of our church vehicles!
Production
Those who serve on the Production team keep things running smoothly during our weekend services and at events so that our attendees have a great experience meeting with the Lord and the church. They run the lighting and sound booth during services, put up slides for services and set up for services and events.
Worship
Those who serve on our Worship team use their gifts and abilities to minister to the church body through the expression of worship to the Lord through music. They lead worship at weekend services and other ministries and events throughout the week and sing or play an instrument in the worship band. Tryouts are ongoing to serve in our worship ministries.
Stories
Those who serve on our Stories team help us testify to who God is and what He has done and is doing in Christ. These volunteers serve the body by creating and sharing stories that speak the truth about the way things are and proclaim the gospel through photography, videography, writing, editing and other areas.
Finance
Those who Serve on our Finance team serve the church behind the scenes in the area of giving and financial stewardship. They collect the offering after weekend worship services or they assist with counting the offering on Monday mornings. Due to the confidential nature of the role, applicants must be Covenant Members.
